Another Thanksgiving has come and gone and that means Christmas is on the minds of most residents, especially the children, of Albany and Clinton County.
In staying with the long-time tradition of this newspaper, all kids will have the chance to get their letters to Santa Claus not only forwarded to the North Pole before December 25, but also have them published in the December 22, 2011 issue of the Clinton County News.
Letters can take the form of individual kid’s correspondence or school of group letters such as Head Start, daycare centers, etc. Letters can be emailed to: gpcompany@kih.net or delivered to Clinton County News, P.O. Box 360, Albany, KY 42602, or hand delivered to our office at 116 N. Washington St.
Children can now begin submitting their Santa letters. To assure publication Christmas week, teachers, daycares, groups and individuals have until December 12 to deliver them to the news office.
As usual, there are certain rules that need to apply. All letters should be legible and individual letters should include a name and phone number in case there are questions pertaining to the content. Also, group letters, such as school classes, should also be legible and include the grade, school and teacher’s name(s) on the correspondence.
Any letters received after the aforementioned deadline cannot be guaranteed to be published in the Christmas edition, so get your letters in now and Merry Christmas!
