On Monday night, high school basketball fans got what they have been wishing for since last March when the roundball season came to a close – the start of a new season. Clinton County’s Lady Bulldogs came up short in their season opener at the Lindle Castle Gymnasium on Monday night, losing to Franklin-Simpson 48-28.
At right, Lady Bulldog head coach Darrell Thompson used a time-out in Monday night’s contest to discuss stratedgy with his players during first half action. Thompson previously coached the boys’ team at Clinton County for three seasons.
