Irene S. Mullins, 93, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence in Albany, Kentucky.

She was born in Albany, Kentucky, the daughter of Ruby and Hattie Felkins Shelton.

She was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Seventy-Six Baptist Church. She was employed at Dyer Drug as a clerk-bookkeeper for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Mullins, a sister, Faye Ferrill, and a brother, Hugh Shelton.

She is survived by her son, J.D. (Jamie) Mullins of Albany, Kentucky; grandchildren, Juliann Mullins (Ethan) Cook, Jana Mullins, Jordan Mullins; great- grandchild, Sawyer Cook; nieces and nephews, David Rogers, Jane Phillips, Joe Summers, David Shelton, Carol Shelton, and Lois Carter.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Summers, and Bro. Greg Wells officiating.

Burial was in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to the Seventy Six Baptist Church or Cave Springs Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund in Mrs. Mullins memory.

Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was in charge of arrangements.
