More arrested on drug charges

Local, area and state law enforcement authorities continue to battle the war on drugs on the Albany and Clinton County level, and have reported several additional arrests in the past week.

According to reports, Rocky Maschino, 58, of Celina, Tennessee, was arrested on February 22 by Clinton County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Jose Lagos.

Maschino was charged with criminal mischief, second degree, and possession of a controlled substance (meth).

Maschino was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Jonathan E. Wray, 34, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested by Kentucky State Police Trooper Austin Mattingly and Trooper Jason Warinner.

Wray was charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree (meth), operating a motor vehicle under the influence fourth or greater, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on DUI suspended license and numerous other traffic violations.

Wray was lodged in the Clinton Count Jail.

Robert Myers, 53, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested on February 27 by Kentucky State Police Trooper Mattingly and Trooper Warinner.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree (meth), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, violation of E.P.O/D.V.O.

Myers was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Billy K. Parrigin, 54, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested February 27, by State Police Trooper Mattingly and Trooper Warinner.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance first, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth), possession of marajuana, also multiple other traffic violations.

Parrigin was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Steven Posey, 46, of Albany, was arrested on February 26, by Clinton County Sheriff’s Department Deputy McGuffin.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance first Degree (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, and also served with a bench warrant from Hart County for felony theft. He was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
