Kolema Stearns Davis, 94, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Park Louisville by Senior Star.

A native of Albany, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Luther Stearns and Oda Marcum Stearns. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Harvard Davis; three sisters, Kathleen Connor, Kate Dowell and Maude Estelle Groce; four brothers, William Archie Stearns, Kay Stearns, McKinley Keith Stearns and Robert Kirby Stearns.

She was an elementary school teacher for 42 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville.

Survivors include three children, Viola Susan Hatter of Shelbyville, Nathan Reginald (Cheryl) Davis of Eminence and Patricia Yvonne Davis of Taylorsville; one sister, Mattie Ramelle Cole of Albany; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been selected. A private graveside service will be held in Albany, Kentucky, at McWhorter Cemetery later.

Expressions of sympathy may be made directly to Viola, Patricia and Nathan.

Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

The graveside service will be handled by Weldon Haddix Funeral Home in Albany.
