Drug arrests continue locally

The war on drugs in and around Albany and Clinton County continues as local area and state law enforcement officers continue to arrest and jail drug offenders from Albany and Clinton County as well as outside residents who commit drug related offenses here.

The most recent drug-related arrests have seen several lodged in both the Clinton County Jail as well as the Wayne County Detention Center in neighboring Monticello, according to reports from agencies.

Clinton County Sheriff’s Department has reported that Rebecca Major, 27, of Jamestown, Kentucky, was arrested on March 2 by deputy Kent McDaniels.

Major was charged with: possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd offense (meth); possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, drug unspecified; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; outstanding warrants from Madison County.

Major was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Alicia White, 35, of Albany, was arrested on March 7, by Kentucky State Police Troopers Austin Mattingly and Jason Warinner.

White was charged with: possession of a controlled substance 1sr degree (Meth); operating a motor vehicle under influence of a controlled substance 2nd offense; driving on a suspended /revoked license; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; numerous other traffic violations.

White was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Donnie Lee of Albany, was arrested on March 6, by KSP Troopers Mattingly and Warinner.

He was charged with: possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth); operating on a suspended/revoked license; possession of drug paraphernalia; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance -2nd offense; numerous other traffic violations.

Lee was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Lucas Pettenger, 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested by KSP Troopers Mattingly and Warinner on March 7.

Pettenger was charged with: public intoxication of a controlled substance; tampering with physical evidence; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree- (Meth).

Pettenger was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Stanley Catron, 38, of Albany, was arrested on March 8 by KSP Troopers Mattingly and Warinner.

Catron was charged with: possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (Meth); possession of drug paraphernalia; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance; driving on a suspended/revoked license; numerous other traffic violations.

Catron was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

On March 5, 2021 Wayne Sheriff Office Deputies Allen Cash, Jerry Meadows and Derek Dennis obtained a search warrant for a residence on Parmley Street in Monticello.

The search warrant was obtained after a continuing drug trafficking investigation by the sheriff’s office. At 10:09 pm the search warrant was executed at the residence with several different types of illegal narcotics, items related to the illegal drug trafficking trade, drug use items and burglary tools being seized.

Joshua Shaw, of Albany, Ky. Shaw, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shaw was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
