Shirley Evelyn (Rednour) Smith, 84, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at her residence.

She was born in the Alpha Community of Clinton County, the daughter of Joseph Henry and Lillian Neal Rednour.

She was of the Methodist faith, a member of the Davis Chapel United Methodist Church in Clinton County, Kentucky, and was a sign maker in Kokomo, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Edd Smith; a son, Mitchell Smith; a brother, Bob Rednour; a sister, Betty Haste.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Jim) Delk of Albany, Kentucky; grandchildren, Craig Smith, Bradley Smith, Shelby Delk, Ethridge Delk; great-grandchildren, Jaren Smith, Gavin Smith, Brecken Smith, Camdyn Smith, Bentley Smith.

The funeral service was conducted Sunday, March 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Seth Denney officiating.

Burial was in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Davis Chapel Church Building Fund, or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was in charge of arrangements.
