, 92, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Pickett County Care and Rehab. Center, Byrdstown, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bledsoe Marcum, and he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret (Ola) Jones, Lucille (Arnold) Clark, and Vivian (Howard) Massengale; three brothers, Frank (Helen) Marcum, Fred (Leah) Marcum, and Delmer (Nannie) Marcum.

He is survived by one daughter, Melinda Jane Batson, of New Castle, Indiana; one sister, Wandalee Perdue, of Anchorage, Alaska; one granddaughter, Amanda Dianne Batson; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, April 9, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Jones officiating. Burial was in Davis Chapel Cemetery.

Talbott Funeral Home of Albany was in charge of arrangements.
