More drug related charges, arrests made last week

More drug related arrests have been made in recent days involving the battle against the use and distribution of illegal drugs in our community.

Three additional suspects were recently arrested by local law enforcement authorities on charges related to illegal drugs.

Eric M. Stamey, 30, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested on April 23, 2021, by deputy Barnett of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.

Stamey was charged with probation violation on a charge of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense methamphetimine.

Stamey was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

William E. Rains, 24, of Albany, was arrested on a Cumberland County Circuit Court indictment by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Wayne Glover.

Rains was arrested on April 28, 2021, and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, 1`st degree, 1st offense (methamphetimine).

Rains was also arrested on an indictment from Adair County and charged with possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetimine), promoting contraband 1st degree and tampering with physical evidence.

Rains was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Isaac R. Dalton, 32, of Albany, was arrested by Albany Police Officer Brad Cross on a Cumberland County indictment.

Dalton was arrested on April 30, 2021, on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetimine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dalton was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
