, 87, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Albany, Kentucky to the late John B. and Audra Crabtree Smith.

She was a 1951 graduate of Clinton County High School and retired from the Ingham County Office in Lansing, Michigan in 1993. She was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church in New Castle, Indiana, and attended First Baptist Church in Sellersburg.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Carol) McFarland, Marla (Ernest) Lee, Gary (Sue) McFarland, and Thomas (Laurie) McFarland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Wonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. McFarland; siblings, June Melton, Reba Samaras, Virginia Hudleston, James Robert Smith, John B. Smith, Jr., and Janet Lowhorn.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Charles Dugger officiating. Burial was in Elliott Cemetery.
