The Albany Volunteer Fire Department sent several firemen and trucks to the Snow Community on Friday night to battle a structure fire at the Cowboy Charcoal Company near the intersection of Ky. 90 and Hwy. 1590.

The blaze was called in to Clinton County 911 at about 10:15 p.m. According to Albany Fire Chief Mike Walls, the fire was contained to a large shed where wood is stored in the charcoal making process. Walls said that likely the heat from one of the nearby kilns produced an ember or spark that ignited the stored wood.
