More drug related arrests

Local law enforcement officers continue to battle the war on drugs in our community, making additional arrests on drug related charges.

During the past week, the following suspects were arrested and charged as follows:

Kristie N. Moreland, 36, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested on June 2, 2021, by Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Vincent on a Cumberland County Indictment Warrant.

Moreland is charged with: possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (meth); possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified); operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance; speeding 16 mph over.

Moreland was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Chassidy D. Hicks, 41, of, Albany, Kentucky, was arrested on June 3, 2021 by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff David Bookout.

Hicks is charged with: possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (meth); possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication; criminal trespassing third degree.

Hicks was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Chris D. Sanders, 36, of Monticello, Kentucky, was arreseted June 5, 2021, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Chris McGuffin.

Sanders is charged with: trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (meth); public intoxication; drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (meth).

Sanders was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Luther Shawn Conner, 44, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested on June 5, 2021 by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Jose Lagos.

Conner is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; operating on suspended/revoked license; no insurance; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle; expired registration plates; possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (meth).

Conner was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
