During the month of November, 2011, there were 33 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.

There were five fatalities during the month of November in the Post 15 area:

Duvall, Aleigha; Loretto, KY, was killed in Clinton Co, KY on 11/01/11.

Schutt, Gerald; of Campbellsville, KY, was killed in Marion Co, KY on 11/09/11.

Smith, Stephen; of Russell Springs, KY, was killed in Taylor Co, KY on 11/15/11.

Vancleave, Rashawna; of Lebanon, KY, was killed in Marion Co, KY on 11/15/11.

Woolridge, Teresa; of Russell Springs, KY, was killed in Adair Co, KY on 11/30/11.

This brings our yearly fatality count to 42 compared with 24 through this same period in 2010.

State wide fatality count stands at 664 compared with 714 through this same period in 2010.

During the month of November 2011, there were 1122 citations written, 353 courtesy notices written, 1448 vehicles inspected, 719 complaints answered, 96 motorists assisted, 97 criminal cases opened and 194 criminal arrests made.
