Kenneth Lloyd Thrasher, 88, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Tri-Star Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Barton and Vela Poindexter Thrasher. He was of the Methodist faith, a member of Grider United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, and an engineer with the Kentucky Department of Transportation.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley Thrasher, Rondal Thrasher, infant brother, James Thrasher; sisters, Dorothy Schickel, Imogene York, Brenda Cook; great-grandson, Dawson Shuford.

He is survived by his wife, Datha Smith Thrasher, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky; children, Barry Thrasher of Burkesville, Kentucky, Donneta (Joe) Herald of Oakland, Kentucky, Kendra (Rodney) Doolin of Bowling Green, Kentucky; grandchildren, Isaac Doolin, Janna (Matt) Shuford, Kyle (Karyn) Herald, Darrell Thrasher, LeAnn (Jeremy) Cline, James Gage Doolin; and several great-grandchildren,

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, June 11, 2021, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Mike Murphy and David Lewis officiating

Burial was in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky.
