Charles David Irwin, 70, of Irwin-Daniels Road in Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee

He was born in the Aaron Community of Clinton County, the son of Wendell Coleman and Nilda Sue Melton Irwin.

He was a Christian of the Baptist Faith, a charter member of the Burkesville Separate Baptist Church, and he was a self-employed oil and gas driller. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Ina Joan BurchettIrwin; mother, Nilda “Sue” Irwin; sons, Bro. David (Tammy) Irwin, Brad (Shelia) Irwin, Chad (Sue) Irwin, Nick (Jessica) Irwin; sister, Lana June Irwin, all of Albany, Kentucky; grandchildren, Charles Bradley (Kayla) Irwin, Bethany (Jeremy) Fryman, Richard (Haleigh) Irwin, Kaela (Donnie) Wiggington, Brittany (Justin) Burchett, Kurtis (Mackenzie) Irwin, Ryan Irwin, Haleigh Irwin, Cameron Irwin, Carson Irwin; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Willow, Wyatt, Fisher, Camden, Jesley, Bradley, Jagger, Jett, Lucas, Waylon, Mia, and Homer Henry.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Burkesville Separate Baptist Church in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. David Irwin, Bro. Richard Irwin, and Bro. Justin Burchett officiating.

Burial followed in the Aaron’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Burkesville Separate Baptist Church, and may be left at the funeral home.
