For the first time in months since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the court system across Kentucky, courtrooms are once again open and cases are being heard in open session. Clinton County District Court Judge Mike Lawson was the first to preside in an open courtroom after the court system was re-opened last week, as District Court cases were heard in the Clinton County Courthouse on Tuesday morning.
