Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, which resulted in the following arrests last week.
On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, officers with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department arrested Savannah Neal, of Albany, charging her with public intoxication excluding alcohol. She was also charged with disorderly conduct second degree and resisting arrest.
She was lodged in the Wayne Co. Detention Center.
On Saturday, September 18, 2021, Albany Police Officer Brad Cross arrested Timothy Herald, 36, of Albany.
Herald was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (LSD), trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Herald was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
On Saturday, September 18, 2021, Albany Police Department Assistant Chief Wayne Glover arrested Barbara Johnson, 31, of Russellville, Kentucky.
Johnson was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd offense (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd offense (drug unspecified), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, driving on DUI suspended license, Johnson was served with probation warrants from Barren and Warren counties.
Johnson was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
