Lana Yvonne Parmley Branscum, 68, of Wayne County, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Rockcastle Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.

She was born in the Parnell Community of Wayne County, Kentucky, the daughter of the lateNarvel and Thelma Stephenson Parmley.

She was of the Church of God Faith.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Jill Richardson, brothers, Jeffery Allen Parmley and Richard Dale Parmley.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Branscum; mother, Thelma Stephenson Parmley; children, Anita Richardson (Garrett) Coffey, Christopher Branscum, James Branscum, Robin Branscum (Stacey) Duncan, all of Monticello, Kentucky, Crystal Branscum of Richmond, Kentucky, Whitney Spencer Sullivan of Monticello, Kentucky, William Chase (Kortney) Spencer of Lincoln Co., Kentucky; siblings, Linda K Sheppard, Marilyn Parmley (Larry) Muse, Curtis Parmley, all of Monticello, Kentucky; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family members.

The funeral service was conducted Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home in Monticello, Kentucky, with Bro. Walter Bell officiating.

Burial followed in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky.
