Donald Clay Davis, 75, Albany, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Jesse James and Pearl Rogers Davis and brother of the late Ima Jean Wesley. He was a member of Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge F & AM.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Davis, Albany; a son, Jon Michael (Brisca) Davis, College Station, TX; two daughters, Jesica Lynne Davis, Louisville, KY; Donna Sue (Rick) Smith, Berea, KY; a brother, Robert (Irene) Davis, Albany; eight grandchildren, Rachel and Josh Kelly; Damian Sanchez; Clay and Shelby Smith; Dakota, Nicole and Kati Campbell Davis; also one great-grandchild, Abigail Grace Davis.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Sexton officiating. Final resting place in Manse Cemetery in Paint Lick, Kentucky. Arrangements made through Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home of Richmond, Kentucky.
