Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, which resulted in the following arrests last week.

Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Jose Lagos arrested Lora Lynn Burchett, 42, of Albany, on December 6, 2021.

Burchett was charged withtrafficking a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Meth); possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Meth); possession of drug paraphernalia.

Burchett was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Vincent arrested Paul Eric Ritchie, 39, of Albany, on December 6, 2021.

Ritchie was charged with trafficking a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Meth); possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Meth); possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ritchie was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
