Brenda Mae Denney, 85, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at The Medical Center-Albany.

She was the daughter of the late William Harrison and Lucinda Zachary Byrd, and the wife of the late Arnold K. Denney.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Arnold Bradley Denney, and siblings, Elvin Byrd, Estelle (Bill) Byrd, Samuel Byrd, Elmer Byrd, Bercie Butler, Beatrice Pittman, Jewell Groce, and Dean Rood.

She is survived by her children; Donna (Larry) Asberry, Jacksonville, Florida, Phillip Denney, New Castle, Indiana, Terry Denney, New Castle, Indiana; a sister, Bonza Witt, of Albany; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, December 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating. Burial followed in Peolia Cemetery.

Talbott Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky, was in charge of arrangments.
