Third baseman Matt Duvall got under a pop up for the out last week against Wayne County. The Dawgs lost the game 9-4, but managed to defeat Russellville in the opening round of the 4th Region All “A” Classic 17-0 in five innings. The Bat Dawgs will play Saturday against Todd County Central at Veterans Memorial Park in Burkesville, KY, at noon.

D.J. Evans jumped over Wayne County’s catcher and came back into the plate from the back side and was called safe by home plate umpire during Clinton County’s game against the Cardinals last week. Clinton County lost the game 9-4.

Below, Blake Melton made contact with the ball during Clinton County’s game against Wayne County. The Dawgs move to 3-2 on the year.
