, 82, of Modoc, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.

He was born in Albany, Kentucky, the son of the late Martin Van and Roxie Craig Stockton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jeanette Stockton; three siblings, Peggy Stearns, Howard Stockton and Jimmy Stockton.

He worked for several casket manufacturing companies before retiring from J.M. Hutton in Richmond.

He is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Mike Jr.) Straley of Lynn, Indiana, Becky (Dave) Tinsman of Losantville, Indiana and Lisa (Scott) Hensley of Winchester, Indiana; four siblings, Margaret Hart, Alice Davidson, Lanny (Kathy) Stockton and Bruce (Doris) Stockton; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; several other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Sproles Family Funeral Home in New Castle, with Pastor Adam Sewell officiating.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville.
