Terry “Turk” Polston, Albany Little League President, accepts a $936.45 donation from Horizon Adult Health Care Activities Director Carla Coffey, and several Horizon Adult Health Care clients recently.

Polston expressed the gratitute of the Albany Little League to all the clients and said it would be put to good use. Polston pointed out that the child’s entry fee went mostly for shirts and scorebooks, but that the other financial responsibilities such as insurance, equipment, umpire fees and lights comes totally from donations and sponsorships. All coaches’ and parents’ time is also donated. He also stated that any and all community involvement was needed, encouraged and welcomed.
