Jose Benjamin Lagos, of Albany, and former Sheriff’s Deputy, was arrested on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, on two warrants by Sheriff Jeff Vincent.

On the warrants, the charges are two counts of distributing obscene material to minors, two official misconduct charges and a sexual abuse in the third degree charge.

Lagos was lodged in the Clinton County Jail and made bail at $500 for each warrant issued.
