Christy Renee Hancock Sharp, 54, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She was the daughter of Fred and Pat Norris Hancock. She was a member of The Spears Chapel Church and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mack and Dimple Norris; uncle, Clay Forsyth; aunt, Mary Della Jernigan; cousin, Alex Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Jackson Sharp, Jr. of Burkesville, Kentucky; sons, Matthew (Tricia) Sharp, Patrick Sharp, both of Burkesville, Kentucky; bonus daughter, Jordan Garner; siblings, Gayle (Phil) Anderson of Crossville, Tennessee, Heather (Donnie) Hazel of Crossville, Tennessee, Sylvia Pruitt of Burkesville, Kentucky, Jason (Jackie) Hancock of Crossville, Tennessee, Fred Hancock of West Virginia; grandchildren, Jayden, Jesley, James, Theo, all of Burkesville, Kentucky; several other relatives.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating

Burial followed in the Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to help pay for final expenses and may be left at the funeral home.
