Although summer isn’t officially over until September 22, the tourism summer ended this past weekend with the passing of the third major tourism holiday weekends, Labor Day.

Lake traffic was busy on both Lake Cumberland and Dale Hollow Lake, although reports indicated that boat numbers were down from previous Labor Days. Above, boats gathered on Dale Hollow Lake at the area known as “The cliffs at Shear Pin Pass” near Wolf River Marina.
