Last week, a $1,000 reward had been offered by the Clinton County Fiscal Court for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators involved in stealing the courthouse christmas decorations two weekends ago. Although the perpertrators haven’t been discovered, the decorations have now been found.

Albany Police Chief Ernest Guffey said a call came in describing the decorations and that some decorations had been spotted in the Hogback Community. Guffey said the decorations were dumped as if to get rid of the evidence against the people who took them.

The decorations were noticed missing on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 5:45 a.m. by courthouse custodians.
