Oleta B. (York) Pierce, 100, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Clinton County, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Mary and A.W. York and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sue Pierce and Hazel Owens and a son, Gary Pierce.
She is survived by a son, Joseph E. (Julie) Pierce, Richmond, IN; six grandchildren, Bobbie K. Owens, Columbus, IN; Sherry Owens, Denver, CO; Christopher Pierce, Myrtle Beach, SC; Melissa Church, Rock Hill, SC; Broc Pierce, Richmond, IN; Cari Menten, Weston, FL; also nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service and burial was in New Castle, Indiana.
