Clinton County’s Caleb Thrasher stepped on home plate after hitting a home run during Clinton County’s first round district game against Cumberland County last Tuesday. Clinton County won the game 14-1, and moved to the finals against Russell County. Russell County won the district championship by a final score of 3-1. The Dawgs played Barren County in the first round of the regional tournament Monday night. The Dawgs lost by a final score of 4-0 and finish its season with a 12-16 record.

Above, Clinton County’s Chloe Longwell got under a ball close to second base as shortstop Ella Marlow supplied back up on the play during Clinton County’s first round district game against Russell County. The Lady Dawgs won that game, 3-1, but lost against Cumberland County in the finals, 4-2. Clinton County also played Monday night in the regional tournament against South Warren. The Lady Dawgs lost the game, 12-1, and finish its season with a 26-12 record.
