Class of ’23 has 95 graduates

The post-secondary education careers of some 95 students will come to a close this week, as Clinton County High School will confer diplomas to those graduates at its 106th Annual Clinton County High School Commencement Program.
Ceremonies will begin at 6:00 p.m. Central Time in the CCHS gymnasium, beginning with the processional by the Clinton County High School Band.  This will be followed by the presentation of colors by the JROTC.
The program will then feature a musical performance by Evan Little and Loren Little, the President’s History Address by Senior Class President Elisa Shelton, and another musical by the senior members of the CCHS Band.
An Academic Address will be delivered by the top academic honoree(s), Evan Little, Loren Little, and Sadie Moons, followed by a musical performance by Thomas Oesterreicher.
Recognitions and awards will then be given by Clinton County High School Principal Kenny Dearborn, followed by a musical performance by Elisa Shelton, then a slideshow presentation of the CCHS Class of 2023.
The moment graduates have been working for will then arrive, when Clinton County Schools Superintendent Dr. Paula Little awards diplomas, which will be followed by the tassel ceremony by the 2023 graduating class officers and the processional.
In 2023, a total of 29 scholarships will be awarded to deserving graduates, including seven businesses, eight college and/or university, two memorials and 12 organizations and/or individual scholarships.
