The case against Tammy Norris, who was charged in Jackson County with theft of property in relation to her working at a nursing home facility in Gainesboro, has been dismissed.

Norris was charged with three counts of theft of property from $1,000 to $10,000. After court appearances, her case was dismissed on November 28.

Assistant District Attorney Jimmy Lee said the case was dismissed because of lack of evidence.
