Phillip L. Blackburn,  78, passed away on June 4, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from  Chrysler and was a devoted member of the Community Church of Mexico.
He is survived by his two daughters, Melinda (Kent) Young and Melissa (Doug) Harnish, both of Greentown; his son, Hugh (Cindy) Gibson, also of Greentown; a sister, Beverly Sue (John) Musselman of Logansport; eight grandsons and thirteen great-grandchildren
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Thursday June 8, 2023, at the Community Church of Mexico. Burial will follow with full Military Graveside Rites in the Miami Baptist Cemetery near Logansport.
A visitation will be held from 3 – 8 pm, Wednesday June 7, 2023, and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Church of Mexico.
