Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:
Charlie York of Albany, Kentucky was arrested Thursday, October 19, 2023, by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, on a Kentucky Parole Board Parole Violation warrant of arrest for absconding parole supervision, failure to complete treatment for substance abuse, failure to complete graduated sanctions and failure to report to parole officer as directed.
York was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay or show cause on the underlying charge of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (less than two grams of methamphetamine).
York was also arrested on a Clinton County District Court warrant of arrest for failure to pay on the underlying charge of terroristic threatening-3rd degree.
York was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
Charles D. Dicken, 62, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Sunday, October 22, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Moreland.
Dicken was charged with criminal trespassing-3rd degree and burglary-3rd degree.
