Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:
Megan G. Kennedy, 32, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Rodney Shelton on Sunday, October 29, 2023, on a Wayne County Circuit Court warrant of arrest for probation violation on the underlying charges of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol).
Kennedy was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
Terry L. Britt, 48, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Tuesday, October 24, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Rodney Shelton.
Britt was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia.  Britt was also served with a McCreary County Circuit Court probation violation warrant.
Britt was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
