Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:
William Willis, 26, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Wednesday, November 29, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Moreland.
Willis was charged with unlawful imprisonment 1st degree; fraudulent use of a credit card; theft by unlawful taking; possessions of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (percocet); possession of a controlled substance not in original container.
Willis was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Walter Brown, 50, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Thursday, November 30, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Moreland.
Brown was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified); possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offense (hydrocodone); trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense; operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense.
Brown was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Kaleigh B. Swift, 22, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Wednesday, November 29, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Thomas Pendergrass.
Swift was charged with unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree; assault, 4th degree; intimidating a participant in the legal process.
Swift was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Hannah Murphy, 22, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Wednesday, November 29, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Thomas Pendergrass.
Murphy was charged with unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree.
Murphy was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Amanda Jean Glidewell, 40, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Thursday, November 30, by Wayne County Deputy Sheriff Derek Dennis.
Glidewell was charged  with possession of marijuana; possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine); and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Glidewell was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
