Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:

Devin Groce, 28, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Wednesday, December 6, 2023, by Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum.
Groce was charged with unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree.
Groce was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Jordan L. Garrett,  24, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Friday, December 8, 2023, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Thomas Pendergrass.
Garret was charged with sexual abuse, 1st degree.
Garrett was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Robert D. Smith, 39, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Monday, December 11, 2023, by Albany Police Assistant Chief Wayne Glover.
Smith was  charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence; resisting arrest; no insurance; wanton endangerment, 1st degree.
Smith was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
