New postage rates are now in effect. The increase in rates officially began last Sunday, January 22. Rates for first class postage increased from 44 to 45 cents per stamp and from 29 to 32 cents for post cards.

Postal patrons are reminded that Forever Stamps do not require any additional postage. They will automatically be worth 45 cents or the cost to mail a first class letter up to one ounce.

Other price increases are posted at local post offices.
