Tyson Foods feeds the world and last week, the largest employer in Clinton County made sure that people in Clinton County were well fed as well.  Company employees were set up in the Albany IGA parking lot Saturday afternoon, handing out free product to those who wanted it.  The food giveaway came at a time of particular hardship for many Albany and Clinton County residents who had suffered through  bitter winter storms that brought temperatures to below zero, and a crisis with the Albany Water Department that left most residents outside of the city limits without water, some for more than a week.
Cars for Saturday’s Tyson product giveaway were lined up from the stoplight near McDonald’s, through the IGA parking lot and around the building to the semi-trailer where the product was being distributed.
