Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:

Timothy R. Stapp, 35, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Tuesday, January 30, 2024, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Moreland.
Stapp was charged with criminal michief, 1st degree; criminal trespassing.
Stapp was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Camrick Wright, 21, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested Wednesday, January 31, 2024, by Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum.
Wright was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol;wanton endangerment 1st degree.
Wright was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Lloyd Owens, 65, of Alpha, Kentucky, was served with a Clinton County indictment warrant Wednesday, January 31, 2024, by Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum.
Owens was charged with wanton endangerment, 1st degree- two counts.
Owens was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
Micheal Taylor, 39, of Albany, Kentucky, was served with a Clinton County indictment warrant on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, by Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum.
Taylor was charged with arson, 1st degree; wanton endangerment, 1st degree: assault, 1st degree; criminal mischief, 1st degree: attempted murder.
Taylor was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.y
