Roger Wayne Roberts, 72, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024.
He was born in Albany, Kentucky, the son of the late Newman Roberts and Sally Parrish.
He was an employee of Bremner Bakery and Kroger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Roberts; children, Tina (Jerry) Webb and Jonathan Roberts; grandchildren, Jerry Wayne (Starr) Webb, Jr., Jessica Ann Hamblin, Christian-Matthew Roberts, Sean-Michael Roberts and Jonathan-Tyler Roberts; brother, Gary Roberts; sisters, Shirley Shelton and Greta Tabb; several great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 24, 2024 ,in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway. at Brooks Road, in Shepherdsville, Kentucky) with a family reception to follow (details to be announced).
Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
