Malcolm C. Johnson

Malcolm C. Johnson, 89, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Cumberland County. Hospital.
He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of John Melvin and Bessie Lee Coop Johnson.
He was a member of Highland Chapel Methodist Chapel, served in the US Army, and was the business owner of the Johnson Service Station.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Claudette Collins Johnson; brothers, Russell Johnson, Hall Johnson, and Baby Owen.
He is survived by his children, Vicky Johnson of Burkesville, Beth (Steve) Blakley, of Celina, Tennessee, Karla (Rodney) Cross of Albany, Kentucky; grandchildren, Nathan (Lindsey) Garner, Sarah (Bradley) Kessinger, Kourtney (Brent) Coulter, Katelyn (Brandon) Owen, Kane Cross; great-grandchildren, Baylee, Brentley, Charley, Collins, Rylan, Colson, Riggs, Remington, and Chanlee; and bonus family, Heather Blakley, Steven Blakley, Maddix Coulter, Noah Coulter, Taylor Blakley, Jadon Galvin, and Justice Blakley.
The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. Nicki Richards and Bro. Gary Hardin officiating.
Burial followed in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky.
