Two local men were arrested after the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Tompkinsville Police Department worked together on an anonymous tip about possible methamphetamine production.
Deputy Sheriff Larry D. Martin noted the tip had been received at the TPD and Chief Dale “Frog” Ford notified officers from both agencies about the house on Cave Springs Road where he had been told a methamphetamine lab was currently “cooking” in a truck sitting outside the residence.
Martin noted that when Ford arrived on the scene he observed two men sitting inside the truck and the men attempted to flee the scene prior to being arrested by officers on the scene.
During the investigation, an active lab, actual finished product from the lab, marijuana and other manufacturing methamphetamine ingredients were found.

Dubree Road was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine first offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia first degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance first degree, first offense, drug unspecified.
