Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:

Darrell Murphy, 50, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested April 1, 2024, by Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum.
.Murphy was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree, seven  counts; two probation violations out of Clinton Circuit Court.
Murphy was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Katie M. Melton, 27, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested April 2, 2024, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Moreland.
Melton was charged with reckless driving; disorderly conduct, 2nd degree; possession of marijuana; indecent exposure, 2nd degree.
Melton was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Cody J. Smith, 31, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested April 4, 2024,by Albany Police Officer Ricky Stearns.
Smith was charged with assault, 2nd degree, domestic violence; unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree.
Smith was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
