A Clinton County man was found dead on April 9, 2024. Carlos Allan Neal, 76, lived on Bell Camp Road in Clinton County, was found dead at his residence.
According to Coroner Lonnie Scott, preliminary findings indicated Neal passed away of  cardiac arrest.
“The last time anyone talked to him was Saturday night after he had been helping fight a forest fire at his place,” Scott said.
Sheriff Ricky Marcum said he doesn’t expect any foul play and he suspected Neal passed sometime Sunday morning.
