The Clinton County Lady Bat Dawgs invited five other teams to participate in the Kentucky/Tennessee “Border Wars” event held at Clinton County High School last Saturday.
The teams who participated were Cumberland County, Russell County and The Lady Dawgs representing Kentucky, while Upperman, Clay County and Livingston Academy represented Tennessee.
In the above photo, Chad Hickman let the smoke roll on foods for the concession stand, while, in the photo right, fans from Cumberland County traveled to Clinton County to watch the Lady Panthers Saturday afternoon.
Clinton County won both games with the first against Upperman, 6-3, and the last game against Clay County, 7-2.
Cumberland County won both of its games with the first being against Upperman, 4-3, and Livingston Academy 8-0.
Russell County also picked up two wins against both Tennessee teams with an 8-4 win over Livingston Academy and 11-8 victory against Clay County.
