ARRESTED

Law enforcement officers from the area continue to battle the local war on drugs, and criminal activity in general, which resulted in the following arrests last week:

Shelly L. Muse, 40, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested April 15, 2024, by Albany Police Officer Parker Hickman.
Muse was charged with distribution of obscene matter to minors; unlawful transaction with a minor, 3rd degree; harassing communications.
Muse was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Norris G. Nagel, 39, of Albany, Kentucky, was arrested April 16, 2024, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Moreland.
Nagel was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine); possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine); tampering with physical evidence.
Nagel was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Cory Bard, 30, of Monticello, Kentucky, was served with a Clinton County indictment warrant on April 18, 2024, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Rodney Shelton.
Bard was charged with arson, 2nd Degree; being a persistent felony offender.
Bard was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Jaywreye Phelps, 30, of Albany, Kentucky, was served with a Clinton County indictment warrant on April 18, 2024, by Clinton County Deputy Sheriff Rodney Shelton.
Phelps was charged with sodomy, 1st degree, Victim under 12 years of age; sexual abuse, 1st degree, victim under 12 years of age.
Phelps was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

Daniel Norris, 28, of Albany, Kentucky, was served with a Clinton County indictment warrant April 18, 2024, by Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum.
Norris was charged with fleeing or evading police, 1st degree (motor vehicle); possession of burglary tools; resisting arrest; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; burglary, 2nd degree; criminal mischief, 1st degree; theft by unlawful taking.
Norris was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
