Lonza Edward Reagon, 8,2 of Byrdstown, TNennessee, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born in Byrdstown, Tennessee, the son of Virgil Reagon and Mary Whittenburg Reagon.
He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army, a construction worker and farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Y.C. Reagon and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Reagon.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Dowdy Reagon; three sons, Michael (Vickie) Reagon, Mark Reagon, Merle (Crissy) Reagon; granddaughters, Maranda Fitzgerald (Josh), Dulaney Fitzgerald (Robert), Lacey Patton; grandsons, Andrew Reagon (Brittany), Lathaniel Reagon (Kaylee), Jordan Reagon (Adrianna), Landon Reagon; great-grandchildren, Trevin Fitzgerald, Paris Mundy, Brayden Fitzgerald, Breeli Fitzgerald, Avalei Fitzgerald, Eva Fitzgerald, Lilli Reagon, Levi Reagon, Kimber Reagon, Cash Reagon; sister, Orene Pryor; several other family members and friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 4, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Edgefield Cemetery with Bro. Andy Cope and Bro. Darren Ford officiating.
Burial followed in Edgefield Cemetery with military honors provided by Hull-York DAV Chapter 5 and American Legion Post #137.
