Hewel Brown, 81, Pall Mall, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He attended Smyrna Church and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Beaty) Brown, Pall Mall, TN; a daughter, Vanessa (Bill) Gray, Albany; a son, Gregory (Laura) Brown, Pall Mall, TN; a sister, Hazel Beaty; a brother, Hack Brown, both of Jamestown, TN; seven grandchildren, Eric, Anthony, Brian and Trevor Brown; Amanda Woody, Steven and Sara Gray; one great-granddaughter, McKenzie Brown.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Cross, Bro. Randy Tompkins and Sister Joy Langford officiating. Final resting place in Fairview Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee. Arrangements made through Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown, Tennessee.
