On Saturday, January 28, 2012, the Clinton County High School Academic Team competed in the District Governor’s Cup competition along with teams from Monroe, Cumberland, and Metcalfe counties.

The Quick Recall Team won first place in the competition. The members of the Quick Recall Team were: Courtney Talbott, David Pierce, Ellis Shelley, Emily Bertram, Jacob Williams, Jared Hunter, Jordan Vincent, Meagan Harlan, Tiler Cross, and William Cox.
The Future Problem Solving Team also won first place in the competition. The members of the Future Problem Solving Team were: William Cox, Emily Bertram, Troy Butler, and David Pierce.
The Clinton County team won first place overall in the District Governor’s Cup competition and traveled to Bowling Green to compete in the regional competition on February 18.
At the Regional Governor’s Cup competition, Jacob Williams won second place in Social Studies and will now advance to the state competition on March 11. Good luck to Jacob!
